Time with your dog, in the space between sea and sky.

Three villas facing the sea
01/ 03The beginning (challenge)

Why

From a listing on booking sites to a reason to choose this place.

  1. 01

From booking sites to direct bookings

Most reservations came through online travel agencies. The villas needed to tell their story in their own words, with a path to book directly from the official site.

  2. 02

Conveying the appeal of each of the three villas

Three villas, each with its own view, materials and way of spending time. Differences that tend to get lost in a booking-site listing needed to come across as part of the pleasure of choosing.

  3. 03

Reassurance for staying with dogs, before booking

People looking for a place to stay with their dog check the facilities, materials and surroundings in detail. Their questions needed to be answered on the page, before they book.

How

Picturing a stay with your dog, through photographs and words.

Views across the Akashi Strait and relaxed moments with your dog. We designed the site so that photos, video and words convey what time at AWAI feels like. By organizing the features of each of the three villas and the facilities and information needed for staying with a dog, we built a structure that lets visitors sense the world of the villas, choose with confidence and move on to booking.

01 Photo & video

Conveying time by the sea and sky, with your dog, in photos and video.

We handled the photo direction, working with the photographer to assemble photos and video that capture the world of AWAI and let visitors picture their stay with their dog.

02 Structure

Conveying the appeal of each of the three villas.

villa#1, villa#2 and base#3. We portrayed the character of each in photos and text, in a structure that lets visitors compare them and choose.

03 Copy & features

Answering questions before they are asked.

We gathered information on dog-friendly materials and facilities, meals and the surrounding area. A column feature shares ways to spend time on Awaji Island, and English pages welcome guests from overseas.
