We explore intuitively, then test our ideas by putting them into words. Moving between the two, we examine your business's strengths, challenges, and customer needs to create a cohesive brand identity across spaces, websites, and printed materials. The meaning behind our name and logo
“Root for” means to support, to cheer on. Starting and growing a business is a road with peaks and valleys, and through design, we want to be the ally closest to you along the way. The curve of our logo, inspired by a smile, carries our wish to do work that makes everyone involved smile.

At a design firm, an advertising production company, and a major interior design company, I worked on the planning and design of shops and offices, and on branding. Along the way, I met many business owners who had good products and services but weren’t able to fully convey their appeal.
Design has the power to find value that isn’t yet known and to communicate it. Words that convey strengths, shops people want to walk into, comfortable spaces, websites that give people a reason to visit. Shaping all of these from a consistent perspective creates reasons for customers to choose you, nurtures pride in the people who work there, and expands what a business can become.

Inspired by a German lighting designer, he enrolled in a vocational school for interior design. During a year spent traveling Japan to see renowned architecture and interiors, he resolved to make a career of spatial design that moves people through all five senses.
After working at a design firm, an advertising production company, and a major interior design company, he founded Rootfor in 2019.
